University of Washington (UW)

What was the best concert you ever attended?
I went to a music festival called Summer Sonic a few years ago in Japan.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I did a bungee jump once, from a tower in Macau. I wasn’t planning to do it. My cousin was. Then we got there, and I just decided, ok I’ll do it too.

If you could be any animal, which would you be and why?
A cat. They seem so free to just do whatever. They can just nap all day. I kinda want to do that at least for a day.

What’s the last book you read?
Killing Commentadore

What are you currently watching on Netflix?
I watched the Marie Kondo show last night. That was interesting. I also feel like a lot of the things she suggested are just cultural differences between Asia and the US. Like some things, my mom did that.

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
The Queen of England. That just kinda popped out of nowhere. But like, what is a day like for the Queen of England?

What drew you to Miller Hull?
The projects and also just being in UW, you always have that contact and hear about it.

What does a day look like for you?
Usually get in and check emails and then start either drawings or modeling throughout the day.

Is this internship what you were expecting? Why or why not?
I didn’t really have any expectations. I’ve never done an internship in the US before, so I didn’t know what to expect. But I do think I’m learning a lot.

What has been your favorite part of the internship so far?
The whole environment. I think for myself and where I’m at coming out from school, this internship is a very great, safe place to ask questions and grow. It’s a great learning environment.

What has been the most challenging?
Remembering all the names! That first day you get introduced to all these different people. It took awhile to remember all the names.
