The Miller Hull Partnership has updated the design of the office complex Kilroy Realty wants to build at 333 Dexter Ave. N. in South Lake Union.
Kilroy is planning two 12-story towers above 15,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and five levels of underground parking for 700 vehicles. Storage for 286 bicycles is included.
The office space would total about 582,000 square feet.
A city design recommendation meeting is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday at Queen Anne Community Center, 1901 First Ave. W.
Miller Hull’s new renderings show details such as the street-level storefronts, bike-storage area, and a mid-block pedestrian plaza connecting Dexter and Aurora avenues.
The team is aiming for at least a LEED gold rating.
A 20-by-50-foot art wall would face Harrison Street. Kilroy is working with DPA Fine Art Consulting of Malibu, California, to commission a local artist to do the wall following a juried competition.
Other team members are Coughlin Porter Lundeen, civil engineer; Magnusson Klemencic Associates, structural engineer; Glumac, mechanical and electrical engineer; and Hewitt, landscape architect.
The site is the longtime home of KING 5’s headquarters. KING 5 is moving to American Life’s Home Plate Center in Sodo.
