I’m thrilled to reveal the three finalists for Project of the Year, the top honor in an exhaustive, year-long search for the cream of the crop in design and construction execution in the U.S.
Earlier this month, I detailed the 20 category winners in ENR’s Best of the Best Projects competition, which rose to the top from around 900 entries nationwide, as juried by panels of industry judges. From those 20, judges further short-listed a handful of projects in contention for the pinnacle award: Project of the Year.
ENR editors pored over the short-listed entries, considered additional sources, and selected the following three projects as finalists for the top award based on their impact to the community, improving construction industry practices, innovation, safety and workmanship. The finalists are (in alphabetical order):
The finalists, and all the winning projects and judges, will be featured in more depth in the March 15 issue of ENR. Also in that issue, the Project of the Year will be revealed on the cover.
Come celebrate the winners on April 9 as part of the ENR Award of Excellence virtual awards celebration, to be held April 8 and 9. For more information, visit https://www.enr.com/enr-award-of-excellence
The 2021 Regional U.S. Best Projects competition will get underway this spring. For more information, visit last year’s entry page at www.enr.com/bestprojects/ (Entry dates and eligibility will be updated once the call for entries goes live this spring.)
