As part of its climate agenda, the White House is working toward the establishment of a nationwide definition for zero-emissions buildings. The intent is to create a standardized, consistent, measurable basis for zero-emissions buildings to reduce carbon emissions in the environment and help move the building sector towards net zero emissions.
