Seattle Studio

Claire’s experience as a Professional Engineer, Architect, and Lecturer and Studio Instructor at the University of Washington gives her a unique ability to tackle design challenges and projects from many perspectives and with multifaceted expertise. She seamlessly pivots from interdisciplinary design to environmental responsiveness, from a diverse portfolio of public sector work like civic centers, libraries and water infrastructure to private sector work for developers. “Being adept at navigating so many different project typologies while elevating different priorities and owners’ objectives has ensured that my work will always be engaging and exciting.”

Claire is a highly skilled and versatile project manager, accustomed to meeting the needs of her clients. As a project manager of projects ranging from niche community maker spaces to regional regenerative infrastructure facilities, she is highly adept at leading diverse and high-functioning project teams. However, she acknowledges that her individual success is never solely hers. “It’s all about the team,” Claire says, “that as rewarding as it is to deliver highly complex and well-designed projects, it’s equally if not more rewarding to work through the process with incredibly talented teams, and the communities that use and engage with our work.”
