Elizabeth Moggio

AIA, Principal

Seattle Studio

From the big ideas to the execution of every small detail, people can create great things with one another. It’s what Elizabeth describes as a “fundamentally human adventure.”

“As architects, we are natural dreamers, helping people to look to the future and create a new space that has never existed.” With this mindset comes an unbridled optimism that Elizabeth imbues in all of her projects, no matter how constrained some of their programs may be. But this optimism isn’t just about the building’s performance and impact once it’s completed, but rather, the team’s dynamics while the project is still in progress. “Whether with clients, members of communities, teammates, trade partners, or design professionals, I try to be a good listener, a guide, a friendly face, a staunch advocate, and an ally.”

An innately empathetic person, Elizabeth is masterful at bringing people together, and moving them forward in harmony and with momentum. She sees herself as a translator and synthesizer, her goal being to build consensus, foster equitable relationships, and help create functional spaces that bring joy and beauty into people’s lives.
