Julia loves how architecture is a blend of artistic expression and technical problem solving. “Having always been interested in design, visual graphics, and making things with my hands,” Julia says, “I found that architecture combined all those interests in a job that can also positively impact humans as well as the planet.”  Even though design and construction can take a long time, the feedback loop is relatively short compared to most professions and Juila likes how architects can solve problems in real time, learn from our past projects, and do better each step of the way.

As a Project Architect, Julia has learned that a good design should be orderly, timeless, calming to the viewer, and entirely intentional. She believes that years down the road building visitors may not recognize the endless hours spent developing an element, but they will appreciate the clarity in the design.
