08/2025: SAF Design in Depth — New Futures for Empty Offices: Mike Jobes
RT knew he wanted to be an architect from his first pillow fort, even though he had no idea what that truly meant. Twenty years of practice later, he has certainly figured it out having explored diverse scales and typologies from mechanisms to master plans. His experience includes academic institutions, hospitality, commercial, and even zoos where he learned that “Gelada baboons can, and will, ride a Nubian Ibex, so design your habitats accordingly.”
An experienced Project Manager and Architect, RT enjoys choreographing a vast and diverse team of technical consultants to orchestrate a complicated machine of a building. Together with the client, he leads the team to develop thoughtful architecture that positively affects both humans and the environment concurrently.
