“When I was a kid, I carried around a journal of roughly drawn floor plans for houses I visited with my mom – a housekeeper – and job sites I went to with my dad – a carpenter and finish contractor. I loved relocating walls and adding new furniture in these plans, always curious about why certain design choices were made and how the space could be improved.”
