Driving Jared’s career is the belief that, “you can have a great idea in your head, but if you can’t translate that idea into paper, it’s worthless.” With this, Jared has grown into a trusted design leader who communicates ideas with clarity through sketching, modeling, and storytelling. By leveraging hand and digital sketching, virtual reality (VR), and other innovative tools he strengthens team collaboration and project outcomes. His leadership challenges teams and the firm to think critically about design and continually explore new ways to communicate ideas.
As a first generation American with roots in Guatemala, Jared brings the perspective of just how diverse architecture becomes based on the constraints and the environment, and the powerful sense of belonging it can create. Jared approaches his work with a focus on the bigger picture, designing spaces that meet immediate needs while shaping how communities interact, work, and thrive.
