Nick’s design philosophy centers on architecture that responds to its place and serves its community. Raised in New Orleans and introduced to construction through his family’s carpentry business, he gained a deep understanding of regional character and the value of hands-on craft. After Hurricane Katrina damaged his childhood home, he helped design and rebuild it—an experience that ignited a passion for resilient, context-driven design.
In his current role as a Project Manager and Architect at Miller Hull, Nick serves as the bridge between concept and construction. “The most exciting aspect of my role is collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design goals are realized—from initial sketches through construction.”
Nick’s portfolio ranges from custom residences to large-scale civic and academic buildings. He is particularly passionate about sustainable design and embraces constraints as creative catalysts. His work consistently aims to be innovative, environmentally responsible, and intimately connected to its site.
