Miller Hull

Rob Misel

AIA, Partner

Seattle Studio

Since joining Miller Hull in 2002, Rob has led some of the firm’s largest public infrastructure projects and is particularly interested in creating a commitment-based team culture both inside and outside the studio. Rob coordinates Miller Hull’s design approach with a focus on issues related to project budget, constructability and managing the needs of multiple stakeholders. He also leads several in house groups focused on continual improvement of our project process, quality control, project management and determining appropriate technology platforms for all aspects of our work.

At Miller Hull and through his volunteer work with AIA Seattle and UW’s College of Built Environments, Rob is actively involved in moving the practice of architecture forward by advocating for a professional community of inclusiveness, diversity and gender equity. Rob is responsible for our initiatives on improving issues related to staff Equity, Parity and Diversity and the Open Studio Summer Program, which is an introductory design program and high school internship for underserved high school students in the Seattle area who are interested in architecture as they consider a college career.
